UPID’s event dedicated to the Artisans of Uttar Pradesh
At IIP, we have stayed rooted in the Indian culture and its various teachings. Moving in this honorable direction, IIP Academy was proud to be associated with with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Pioneering Concept of One District One Product (ODOP) Project in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Government, Uttar Pradesh Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise and the UPID. An awesome concept driven by the aim to empower thousands of craftsmen, artisans and skilled workers who carry their specialized art and craft from various districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The newly established DEEN DAYAL HAST KALA SANKUL at Varanasi is a modern day marvel that promises to open up new vistas for a wide range of Indian artisans. A place that holds a world of promise for the future. We at IIP were delighted to share our exhibition KASHI EK UTSAV 4.0 over here. We were also involved with a volunteering program, documenting artifacts and artisans along with a workshop on photography. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi also graced the inauguration of KASHI EK ROOP ANEK – a buyer seller meet cum exhibition. PM Modi appreciated the gallery and took keen interest in watching the photographs. The exhibition became the center of attraction as the students of IIP had an awesome experience by participating in this pivotal project. Needless to say, it was indeed a moment of pride for everyone at IIP.
Founder Director of IIP, Mr. Rajesh Goyal said “IIP teaches photography as an art with a clear vision to support the Indian Art and culture and work towards upholding its glory and integrity. It’s time to give back to the society through knowledge of art.” At IIP, we are immensely thankful to Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji for providing such an awesome infrastructure and opportunity to display handicrafts and handloom products to the core artisans. We at IIP are really proud of you.
